Somewhere In The Sky Tour

The multi-platinum and chart-topping band comprised of Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met is kicking off an exciting tour this summer. AJR just unveiled official details about the highly-anticipated "Somewhere in the Sky Tour", hopping across 14 cities from July through October, it's gonna be wild nights on the road with these boys. Inviting a bunch of special guests throughout the trek, it's gonna be a special summer concert extravaganza.

On August 9, they're heading to Xfinity Center - bringing along Cavetown, Valley, and Madilyn Mei to open the night.

The tour is entirely held in outdoor venues, and fans are definitely in to party and celebrate their music right under the stars. "There’s something magical about outdoor shows, whether it’s festivals or our own headlining gigs," AJR noted via an official release. "We’ve been missing that connection with our fans, so we pulled together a bunch of our friends into a great lineup, created some new cool effects, and found the perfect excuse to get back out there!"

Known for their music recorded straight out of their home studio, and unleashing them in full swing on tours, AJR is a band best-seen live. When they broke into the scene back in 2012 with "I'm Ready", and capturing the attention of Sia, the band found their art making rounds across global radio stations. Now, they've got five studio albums that share platinum-selling singles, including "Weak", "100 Bad Days", "Way Less Sad", "World's Smallest Violin", "Bang", "Sober Up", and "Burn the House Down"

From the streets of New York City in 2005 to viral covers on YouTube, and now - selling out concert venues around the world, the AJR brothers have come a long way. Known as a DIY band, these boys have always wrote, produced, and mixed their own music together straight from their living room. With elements of dubstep, hip-hop, and even theatrical notes along their soundscape, they truly are artists by heart. Though they're categorized by most as an "indie pop" band, their music definitely proves that they're versatile musicians not bounded by any sort of label.

How big is AJR really? Well, last summer, they embarked on a tour in support of their latest album "The Maybe Man," and they served over 500,000 fans with a larger-than-life production - over 40 sold-out shows in the country (including two amazing nights at the Madison Square Garden). With songs listed as one of the "Best Rock Songs of the 2010s", and maintaining their spot on Spotify's list of the "500 Most-Listened to Artists," the brothers are powerful forces in the pop scene.

Now, they've giving everyone a sweet treat through a special run of shows... "Somewhere in the Sky." Book your tickets now!
