Outlaw Music Festival 2025 is the ten year anniversary of the iconic touring festival that has been appealing and catering to rock and indie band fans since its inception in 2015. With over thirty dates across the entirety of America, Outlaw Music Festival has found its place in mainstream festival culture and is here to stay for decades to come.

Outlaw's Origins

Outlaw made its debut in 2016 in Scranton, Pennsylvania and comes from Willie Nelson and the masterminds at Blackbird Presents. They set out with the intention of creating a true Americana music festival, and connecting the dots between our country music roots and where the genre has gone today. And major success came - with performances from the likes of Neil Young, ZZ Top, The Avett Brothers, and Luke Combs, the festival sold out immediately in its first iteration, and has been coming back to bless stages ever since. With hundreds of thousands of tickets sold and a goal to reach the core of American music culture, Outlaw Music Festival is the only place to be this September for your dose of country, indie, and good ole’ rock and roll.

Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson, co creator of Outlaw Festival, is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who specializes in Country and Rock music and hails from Abbott, Texas. He is a true pioneer of outlaw music, being one of the first to embrace the sub-genre during the 1960s when conservative radio restrictions began to hinder the music coming out of Nashville during that time. Nelson saw huge commercial success with the release of his 1970s albums, Shotgun Willie, Red Headed Stranger, and Stardust, that propelled him into national acclaim and made him a household name in Country music. Since then, he has appeared in over thirty films, written a dozen books, and sold tickets to millions across the world.

Now, with a music festival dedicated to his brand of country culture, there isn’t much left for Willie to do - except bring in the new generation of outlaws and rule breakers, which he so effortlessly does with the production of Outlaw Music Festival.
