The Heaviest Tour of the Summer

The Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts is so excited to welcome Pantera and Amon Amarth to the stage for a stop on their The Heaviest Tour of the Summer Tour this summer on August 2nd. With only thirty dates planned across the U.S. and music that will 100% start a mosh pit - you can’t miss this one if you love metal, punk, and rock & roll.

Pantera, the forever iconic heavy metal band formed in Arlington Texas in 1981, is known for their unforgettable blend of thrash metal, guitar riffs, and deafening vocals. They are the most commercially successful and acclaimed group of their genre, having sold over 20 million records worldwide and receiving 4 Grammys throughout their career. The Heaviest Tour of the Summer Tour is the band’s first coming together since 2003, after many health issues and sudden deaths paused the group's massive forward trajectory. Maybe it was a sign from above, maybe it was needed, we can’t be sure - but the tour has so far run since December of 2022, and won’t slow down until the end of this year. The band appropriately opened the tour at Heaven and Hell Festival in Mexico to thousands of screaming fans and supporters - reminding everyone that they are still the undeniable kings of Heavy Metal. Now, two and a half years of touring later, the band is ready to give us their all. They’re tuned, perfected, and with voices healed for our listening pleasure. This tour has taken the group to South America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and of course - right back here at home across America.

Speaking on their musical ethos, the group has said "We've survived every f……g trend—heavy metal, grunge metal, funk metal, rap metal—and we're still here. We put everyone on notice that we don't fuck around. Our fans know we're true right down to the f……g core. It’s in a way, our motto,”.

Wow - with words and a repertoire like that, who needs lyrics?! This group has been waiting to show us what they’re made of for the last twenty years of their hiatus - and we’re ready to receive them. The Xfinity Center welcomes Pantera and Amon Amarth to the stage, and we welcome you all to the dance floor! Come ready to rage and let the night take you away with all your best friends - we’ll see you there!
