When they rose up from Iowa, Slipknot set America ablaze, signaling a revolution – not only among fans they so affectionately refer to as maggots, but in metal music itself, by exchanging metal traditions in favor of fresh ideas.

Since the release of their eponymous debut album in 1999, they’ve established themselves as juggernauts in the brave world of heavy metal. With their bloodthirsty drive, creativity, and influence, they’ve built a massive fan base. Their horror facemasks tap into the movie habits of their fans, and their lyrics tap into widespread feelings of social unease, isolation, and rage.

Slipknot’s concerts leave no maggot disappointed. Apart from the fact that they are one of the best bands out there, they embody everything rock music should be: excitement, chaos, and a massive adrenalin rush. Whether you’re into “Psychosocial”, “The Devil in I”, “Before I Forget” or “Snuff”, you’ll experience solid, skilled musicianship, killer riffs, wailing solos, and choruses that hit home. Quoting Shawn “Clown” Crahan: “Just get ready to have your face kicked in. Because we just do what we do, we spread that maggot culture – that disease. And you’ve been infected.”

For the past 25 years, Slipknot has had total world dominance; the numbers speak for themselves: 10’s of billions of streams, 10’s of millions of subscribers and followers, no less than 64 award nominations, 27 wins, and a Grammy Award for the best metal performance.

The line-up comprises existing band members Corey Taylor, Michael Pfaff, Alessandro Venturella, Mick Thomson, Sid Wilson, James Root, and Shawn “Clown” Crahan, as well as two guest musicians.

Hardcore punk band Knocked Loose smashed into the metal scene in 2016 with the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, “Laugh Tracks”, and will get the maggots going with songs such as “Manipulator”, “SS”, and “Billy No Mates”.

Melodic death metal band, Orbit Culture, hailing from Sweden, is quickly rising to become one of the best bands in the world. They released their debut album, “Odyssey”, in 2013, to be followed by four studio albums and three more EPs - a total force to be reckoned with.

The Xfinity Center is a fantastic outdoor amphitheater located in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The center can seat up to 19,900 maggots, bellowing angry anthems such as “Duality” and “Surfacing”.
